Instructor Bio

Melanie Taylor, LPC

Melanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in empowering women through therapy. She specializes in trauma-informed care and utilizes evidence-based approaches such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy to support healing and personal growth.

Melanie is the co-owner of the Center for Emotional Enlightenment, a training company dedicated to providing continuing education for mental health professionals. She is also the owner of Healing Tree Women's Counseling, a group practice focused on supporting women through compassionate, personalized care.

In addition to her clinical work, Melanie is passionate about educating fellow therapists. She offers continuing education workshops on a variety of therapeutic methods, including Parts Work, Art Therapy, EMDR, Hypnotherapy, and Sandtray Therapy.
