Melanie Taylor, LPC

Melanie Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a deep commitment to trauma-informed care and innovative therapeutic approaches. She specializes in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, focusing on helping clients recover from trauma, navigate life transitions, and foster personal growth. Her clinical expertise includes working with individuals addressing complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and challenges related to self-esteem and life balance.

Melanie is the co-owner of the Center for Emotional Enlightenment, a training organization dedicated to providing high-quality continuing education for mental health professionals. She is also the owner of Healing Tree Women's Counseling, a group practice devoted to supporting women through compassionate, personalized care tailored to their unique needs.

Melanie’s passion extends beyond clinical practice to the education and mentorship of fellow therapists. She offers advanced training in therapeutic methods such as Parts Work,  Art Therapy, EMDR, Hypnotherapy, and Sandtray Therapy. Her workshops combine theory and experiential learning, emphasizing practical application and ethical considerations.

In this training, Melanie draws on her extensive experience to guide participants in integrating somatic psychotherapy and Parts Work into trauma-informed care. Her teaching approach is grounded in creating a supportive and collaborative environment where professionals can build confidence, deepen their skills, and explore new techniques for supporting their clients' recovery and self-awareness.

Rachel Hatfield, M.S., LPC-S, LMFT-S, SEP, RPT-S

Rachel Hatfield is a highly experienced mental health professional with over a decade of expertise in clinical practice, supervision, and education. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Supervisor (LMFT-S), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP)™, and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S)™. Rachel’s diverse credentials reflect her deep commitment to trauma-informed care, somatic psychotherapy, and relational therapy.

Rachel is passionate about supporting clients in recovering from trauma by integrating body-based approaches with evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Her work focuses on the interplay between the nervous system and emotional regulation, fostering self-awareness and growth. She specializes in working with individuals navigating complex trauma, chronic illness, chronic pain, relationship challenges, attachment wounds, and life transitions. Rachel has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent clients and is a strong advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, ensuring inclusive and affirming care.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Rachel is a dedicated mentor and educator, training the next generation of mental health professionals. She provides supervision and advanced training in areas such as:
